ZAKYNTHOs

12 - 19 september 2026

High above the Ionian Sea, Villa Vigla sits on a quiet hillside overlooking some of the most striking coastline in Zakynthos.

From the terraces you can see the dramatic white cliffs and deep blue water that define this part of the island.

A short drive down the hill brings you to the coast — perfect for a swim or an afternoon spent by the sea.

This September, Susan and I are gathering a small group here for a week of practice, rest, and shared company.

The intention is simple:
to create a retreat where practice is deep, the pace is spacious, and the surroundings invite you to slow down.

Expect strong, intelligent movement, restorative practices, beautiful food, and

the quiet pleasure of spending time with people who value presence.

Please join us!

THE VENUE

Accommodation at Villa Vigla is arranged across several beautiful villas on the hillside.

Each villa includes two bedrooms across two levels, a shared bathroom, kitchen area, and a balcony or veranda overlooking the sea.

The layout is simple, spacious, and designed for relaxed living

Downstairs room

Queen bed (single occupancy)

Direct access to the shared bathroom

Upstairs room

Large open loft-style space

Two single beds

Private veranda with sea view

One important detail we like to be transparent about:

The bedrooms are clearly separated spaces, but instead of doors they have curtains for privacy.

The bathroom is located downstairs in each villa and shared between the two rooms.

In our experience this arrangement works very comfortably and creates a relaxed, retreat-style atmosphere while still offering personal space.

Every villa also has:

a balcony or veranda with sea views

a kitchen and dining table

beautiful places to sit and enjoy the landscape

September weather

September here is warm, & pleasant. Temperatures range around 20 - 28 C. There is plenty of sunshine and the sea is warm to swim in.

THE RHYTHM OF OUR DAYS

Each day follows a rhythm that balances focused practice with generous free time.

We begin quietly with meditation as the morning light arrives over the sea.

From there we move into a two-hour dynamic vinyasa practice, building heat, strength, and clarity through progressive sequencing.

After brunch, the afternoon is yours.

Many guests choose to head down to the coast, where Zakynthos reveals its famous white cliffs and turquoise water. Others simply rest, read, or enjoy the view from the villa terraces.

In the late afternoon we gather again for a shorter session.

Sometimes this will be core cultivation and strength work with me.
Other days Susan will guide fascia release, somatic work, or deeply restorative practices.

The evening closes with a slow, grounding class before dinner together.
